If you have finished installing DeFi but do not have a voicemail shortcut on your active standby screen: Go to Menu>Tools>Utilities. (Note: In some cases, there is not a Utilities folder inside the Tools folder. Some phones may have a Voicemail icon or Call mailbox icon instead.) Scroll to and select either the Call mailbox or Voicemail icon. The number listed under your Internet call mailbox is your DeFi Mobile number.

To restart DeFi, go to: Menu>Installations>DeFi (or click on the DeFi icon from your standby screen). Press Hide (right softkey) to hide the DeFi application (DeFi continues to run in the background). Do not select the red End key, as this will close the DeFi application completely.
b. Verify that your device is connected to a WLAN:
Note: Before completing the following procedure, check to see that the WLAN access point is powered on and properly connected to your broadband modem or other access device. Also, reconfirm the correct WEP or WAP key to ensure that you have the correct key.
Go to Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection>Access Points. Scroll through your menu list of saved access points until the secure access point to which you are attempting to connect is highlighted. Press the Options softkey and scroll down to and select Delete to delete the incorrectly configured access point.

- 9. How do I receive my voicemails as email?
-
Having your voicemails sent to your email account is a standard feature available with the DeFi GlobalAccessTM service. When you turn this option on, you can still retrieve voicemails normally, but you can also have all of your voicemails delivered to the email account you specify. DeFi will then send your voicemails to your email account as a WAV file attachment.
This useful feature allows you to store your voicemails as you would any other data file and forward it to others as an email attachment.
To configure the email address you would like to use, go to the My Account feature from the home page at www.defimobile.com and login to your personal DeFi User Site with your username and password. Go to the Features tab and select Voice Messaging. Check the box labeled “Email a carbon copy of the voice message to this email address.” Then click OK.
